A hydroponic culture apparatus (200) is provided with a support section (60) which can support a seed tuber (10), an underground stem (3) and a new tuber (6) in such a manner that the seed tuber (10), the underground stem (3) and the new tuber (6) cannot be immersed in a first nutrient solution (9) and a taproot (4) can be immersed in the first nutrient solution (9), wherein the support section (60) is equipped with a nutrient solution supply section (61) which can directly supply a second nutrient solution (9X) that is the same as or different from the first nutrient solution (9) to a first rootlet (6a) that extends from the new tuber (6) and/or a second rootlet (3a) that extends from the underground stem (3).
