PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair shampoo composition, which has, even if it is applied to damaged hair, excellent foaming property and foam creamy properties, is difficult to get bubbles off during shampooing, capable of allowing fingers to smoothly pass during rinsing, difficult for the hair to stick together after rinsing, capable of allowing fingers to smoothly pass after drying, and capable of finishing the hair so that it has moisture and good setting properties.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, there is provided a hair shampoo composition comprising: ingredient (A): 0.2-3 mass% of an acyl taurine type surfactant of formula 1； ingredient (B): 1-18 mass% of an acyl taurine type surfactant of formula 2； ingredient (C): 2-9 mass% of an amide betaine type surfactant of formula 3 and/or alkyl betaine type surfactant of formula 4； ingredient (D): 0.01-0.5 mass% of a compound of formula 5 having a weight average molecular weight of 300,000-700,000； ingredient (E): 0.2-1.2 mass % of cationic polymer； and ingredient (F): 0.5-10 mass % of a divalent alcohol having 3-8 carbon atoms.
