PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent product which is used as a wiping sheet, unnecessitates an adhesive when wrapped, and protects the wrapped absorbent product from humidity.
SOLUTION: The absorbent product is an individually wrapped absorbent product obtained by enclosing an absorbent article body 100 in which an absorbent body 3 is held between a top sheet 1 and a back sheet 2, with the use of an individual wrapping material 30 and joining the sealing parts 30b of the individual wrapping material 30 each other. The individual wrapping material 30 is constituted of a nonwoven fabric with a single layer, containing 10-90 wt.% of an absorbent material and 10-90 wt.% of a thermoplastic fiber, or a plurality of sheets with nonwoven fabric layers, containing 10-90 wt.% of the absorbent material and 10-90 wt.% of the thermoplastic fiber in at least the most inner surface layer. The thermoplastic fibers is welded in order to join the sealing parts 30b of the individual wrapping material 30.
