PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus capable of suppressing or reducing an effect of a respiratory body motion on imaging.SOLUTION: This magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes acoustic control means and image data acquisition means. The acoustic control means applies a gradient magnetic field for controlling a sound in synchronized with a breach signal representing a respiratory body motion.
