An auxiliary plate 15 formed of wood material whose thickness is about 2 to 15 mm not exceeding the thickness of the corrugated cardboard wall is stuck to the wall surface of one of the inside and the outside of the corrugated cardboard wall of the corrugated cardboard coffin 10. The auxiliary plate 15 is preferably provided only at the inner wall surface of the corrugated cardboard wall, and further preferably it is provided only ON the longitudinal corrugated cardboard wall forming the bottom wall 12A, the side walls 12B and 13B and the ceiling wall 13A.
