PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fill the inside of a gastric space by simply swallowing a gastric space filling device by a patient himself/herself.SOLUTION: A gastric space filling device comprises a balloon which can accommodate a gas discharging object and be expanded by gas discharged from the gas discharging object, and a soluble capsule covering the balloon.
