An isolated antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof that can specifically bind to a Sp35 polypeptide, wherein the antibody or fragment thereof comprises a VH region comprising the sequences CDR1, CDR2 and CDR3 of the VH of SEQ ID NO: 436, SEQ ID NO: 437 and SEQ ID NO: 438, respectively； and a VL region comprising the CDR1, CDR2 and CDR3 sequences of the VL of SEQ ID NO: 442, SEQ ID NO: 443 and SEQ ID NO: 444, respectively in which the antibody or fragment thereof binds to a polypeptide Sp35 with an affinity characterized by a dissociation constant not greater than 5 x 10-10M as measured using FACS in CHO cells stably transfected with human Sp35.Un anticuerpo aislado o fragmento de unión a antígeno de éste que puede unirse específicamente a un polipéptido Sp35, en el que el anticuerpo o fragmento de éste comprende una región VH que comprende las secuencias CDR1, CDR2 y CDR3 de la VH de SEQ ID NO: 436, SEQ ID NO: 437 y SEQ ID NO: 438, respectivamente； y una región VL que comprende las secuencias CDR1, CDR2 y CDR3 de la VL de SEQ ID NO: 442, SEQ ID NO: 443 y SEQ ID NO: 444, respectivamente en el que el anticuerpo o fragmento de éste se une a un polipéptido Sp35 con una afinidad caracterizada por una constante de disociación no mayor de 5 x 10-10M según se mide usando FACS en células CHO transfectadas de manera estable con Sp35 humano.
