PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an absorbent article, the method capable of efficiently and stably manufacturing at low cost the absorbent article in which a leakage from a longitudinal end of an absorbing body is effectively prevented.SOLUTION: A cut is made to a belt-shaped raw sheet 10A along a traveling direction MD1, and the sheet is cut into a first sheet 11 and a second sheet 12. A first coating body 5 obtained by cutting a first sheet 5 into unit length is bonded in a non-skin facing surface of an absorbing body 2. The absorbing body 2 is bridged over continuous assemblies 310, 320 of a traveling exterior body, and is intermittently arranged and bonded in a traveling direction MD2, and thereby an absorbent article precursor continuous assembly is manufactured. A cut is made along the traveling direction MD2 to a second sheet 12, and the sheet is cut into two pieces of coating body continuous assemblies 65, 75. Second coating bodies 6, 7 obtained by cutting them into unit length are bonded to the skin facing surface of the longitudinal both ends of each of a plurality of absorbing bodies 2 in the absorbent article precursor continuous assembly.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
