The present invention relates to a novel protein capable of specifically binding to an epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and to a nucleic acid molecule encoding the same. Also, the present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treating cancer or a composition for cancer diagnosis, containing the protein of the present invention. The nucleic acid molecule encoding an antibody fragment of the present invention shows protein expression rate greater than or equal to two to three times, in spite of opposition of arrangement sequence of a domain within an existing single chain variable fragment (scFv).
