The present invention relates to a serine protease inhibitor derived from Apis cerana having an elastase inhibitory function, and a composition for inhibiting inflammation comprising the same as an effective component. Serine protease inhibitory protein derived from Apis cerana can be mass produced using polypeptide forming the serine protease inhibitory protein derived from Apis cerana and polynucleotide encoding thereof.
