Disclosed are peptides for augmenting the expression of BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor) and a pharmaceutical composition for the prevention and treatment of Alzheimers disease or Parkinsons disease, comprising the same. The peptides can induce the expression of BDNF in dopamine-reactive human cells, pass easily through the blood-brain barrier thanks to their low molecular weights and are almost free of cytotoxicity. Thus, they are useful in the prevention and treatment of neuropathies such as Alzheimers disease or Parkinsons disease.본 발명은 BDNF (Brain-derived neurotrophic factor)의 발현을 증가시키는 신규 펩타이드 및 이를 포함하는 알츠하이머병 또는 파킨슨병의 예방 및 치료용 약학 조성물에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 펩타이드는 인간 도파민반응성 세포주에서 BDNF의 단백질의 발현을 증가시키며, 분자량이 작아 혈뇌장벽 통과가 용이하고 세포독성이 약하여 알츠하이머병 또는 파킨슨병과 같은 신경질환의 예방 및 치료제로서 유용하게 이용될 수 있다.
