PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a qualitative real-time PCR detection method which can simply and efficiently yield a positive/negative determination of food allergens in food and drinks.SOLUTION: The presence or absence of a food allergen in a food sample is determined by performing real-time PCR using a primer set for detecting food allergens for DNA extracted from the food sample and DNA of the food allergens with pre-defined copy-number which is a positive control to compare Ct values of the obtained amplified signals.
