PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane type building which is variable in height as necessary.SOLUTION: A frame 4a is suspended by wires 10a, 10b, 10c and 10d extended from the top part of a column 2 which is variable in height, and a membrane material such as a vinyl sheet is developed by the top part of the column 2 and frames 4a, 4b. When the height of the column 2 varies, the height of a membrane type building varies. When an upper frame 4a and a lower frame 4b are prepared, the membrane type building which is variable in a height of side faces is obtained. Thus, it is possible to achieve construction or maintenance management without performing any high place work, and to secure a work space by making the membrane type building high at the time of an internal work, and to reduce a heating volume by making the membrane type building low after the completion of the work.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】必要な高さに変えられる膜式建屋を提供する。【解決手段】高さを変えられる柱２の頂部から伸びるワイヤ１０ａ，１０ｂ，１０ｃ，１０ｄによってフレーム４ａを吊り下げ、柱２の頂部とフレーム４ａ，４ｂによってビニールシート等の膜材を展開する。柱２の高さを変えることで膜式建屋の高さが変化する。上部フレーム４ａと下部フレーム４ｂを用意すると、側面の高さが変わる膜式建屋が得られる。高所作業なしで設営や維持管理ができるとともに、内部作業時には膜式建屋を高くして作業空間を確保し、作業終了後は膜式建屋を低くして暖房容積を減じるといったことができる。【選択図】図１
