The present invention provides a novel electromagnetic field generating apparatus that allows the user to specify properties of the electromagnetic field output pertinent to bioelectromagnetic research and electromagnetic therapy. A processor unit equipped with a digital to analogue converter and amplifiers interprets digital input from the user to generate an analogue signal amplified to user-defined levels. The processor unit outputs the analogue signal to adjustable electromagnetic antennas devices to generate the defined electromagnetic field.
