PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking assistance device, in which an electrical unit and a loin guard member are attached to a lumbar part frame, capable of providing a user easy access to the electrical unit from an inside of the lumbar part frame.SOLUTION: The walking assistance device 10 includes a main frame 22 of almost C-letter shape that is applied to the users lumbar part and stretches from the users back part to both of lumbar side parts, the electrical unit 25 that is attached to a reception hole 23 formed on a region corresponding to the back part in the main frame so as to control an electric motor unit 26, 28, and a back guard plate 24 that is attached to the main frame and abuts on the users back part.
