Low rigidity regions (RL) are provided between the second lengthwise compression grooves (82) and the ends in the widthwise direction of the absorbent body. High rigidity regions (RH) having a higher rigidity than the low rigidity regions are provided to the outside in the lengthwise direction of the low rigidity regions. Compression grooves which compress the absorbent body in the thickness direction thereof are formed in the high rigidity regions and are provided to the outside in the widthwise direction of each of four outer ends in the lengthwise direction of the second compression grooves (82).
