A wound dressing device for use with a transcutaneous medical device such as a cannula or a catheter comprises a polyurethane matrix which may be covered with a film backing. Chlorhexidine di-gluconate and a polyanhydroglucuronic salt are contained in the polymer matrix. The wound dressing device prevents microbial colonization of the dressing and stops bleeding from the insertion site. The device provides combined haemostatic and antimicrobial effects at the insertion site but without adversely affecting wound healing.L'invention concerne un dispositif de traitement des plaies pouvant être utilisé avec un dispositif médical transcutané, tel qu'une canule ou un cathéter, et comprenant une matrice de polyuréthane pouvant être recouverte d'un film de support. La matrice polymère contient du di-gluconate de chlorhexidine et un sel d'acide polyanhydroglucuronique. Le dispositif de traitement des plaies évite que le pansement soit colonisé par les microbes et arrête les saignements provenant du site d'insertion. Le dispositif procure des effets hémostatiques et antimicrobiens combinés sur le site d'insertion sans empêcher la cicatrisation.
