FIELD: medicine sports.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sports medicine and is intended to determine ranking of athletes. Wearer is attached to a wearable device that forms augmented reality. Pair of light pulses (SI) of a predetermined duration of 200 ms separated by an inter-pulse interval (MI) of 70 msec repeating through a constant time interval of 1 s are applied to the device. In the first stage of measurements, the duration of the interimpulse interval between the light pulses in the pair is reduced for each subsequent presentation discretely with a constant step of 0.5 ms, subject will not determine the moment when two SIs merge in pairs into one. In the second stage, the duration of MI between SI in the pair is increased at each subsequent presentation discretely with a constant step of 0.1 ms until the subject determines the time of separation of the two SIs in the pair. Duration of MI at the time of separation of the two SI is fixed. Time of excitation of the visual analyzer is assumed to be equal to the value of the duration of MI between two SIs in the pair at the time of separation of the two SIs. Rating is calculated as the reciprocal of the visual analyzer excitation time, multiplied by 50.
