The composition comprises an RGD ligand-targeted amphiphilic membrane-active polyamine reversibly modified with an enzyme cleavable dipeptide-amidobenzyl-carbonate masking agent. While this modification blocks membrane activity of the polymer, reversibility provides physiological reactivity.
