The present invention provides an underwater periphyton sampler which changes water flow into the inside of the sampler for naturally guiding floating periphyton to the inside of the sampler, thereby maximally preventing collected small sized and lightweight samples from floating and being lost in the water during collection when various kinds of marine periphyton are being qualitatively and quantitatively sampled.
