Provided is a needless injector comprising: an injector main body which is the main body of the needless injector and which has therein a sliding path that connects to an opening part disposed in the front end face of the main body a holding part that is slidably disposed in the sliding path and that has an accommodation part which releasably accommodates an injection substance and a driving part that imparts energy to the holding part for causing the holding part to slide toward the opening part. The opening part is disposed so as to be adjacent to the accommodation part when the holding part is in an abutment position where in the sliding path the holding part abuts the opening and the sliding of the holding part is blocked. The accommodation part is formed so as to not penetrate in the axial direction of the holding part. When energy from the driving part is imparted to the holding part which is in an initial position the holding part slides in the sliding path and abuts the opening part at the abutment position thereby causing the injection substance in the accommodation part to be ejected via the opening part. Due to this configuration the injection performance of the needless injector is suitably and well demonstrated.
