PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter and reinforcement body manufacturing method capable of easily and freely setting the change of physical property in an axial direction.SOLUTION: A catheter includes: an inner layer 22 an outer layer 23 arranged on the outer front surface of the inner layer 22 and a reinforcement body 24 held between the inner layer 22 and the outer layer 23. The reinforcement body 24 is formed to have a tubular shape by a first metallic wire material 26 and a second metallic wire material 27, which are different in transformation temperature.
