The counter system (100) comprises a counter element (2) which is a foil, the counter element (2) comprising indentations (4) and indicia (10) associated with the indentations(4), and a drive member (5) provided with a catch (6) for driving the counter element (2), wherein the catch (6) engages a first indentation (4a), and wherein, the catch (6) is configured such that, when the drive member (5) moves in a first direction, the counter element (2) does not move and the catch (6) disengages the first indentation (4a) and engages a second indentation (4b) which is arranged adjacent to the first indentation (4a), and when the drive member (5) moves in a second direction which is opposite to the first direction, the counter element (2) also moves in the second direction.L'invention concerne un système de compteur (100) destiné à être utilisé dans un dispositif d'administration de médicament (200).
