PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope capable of achieving a structure for efficiently radiating the heat generated from the light emission of a light emitting diode to the outside of the space where the light emitting diode is disposed, without enlarging a control part.
SOLUTION: The endoscope comprises: a suction conduit 100 with one end opened in the control part and the other end opened in an insertion part, through which fluid passes the LED 16 disposed inside the control part 3 to emit illumination light a light guide bundle 35 extended into the insertion part for transmitting the illumination light emitted from the LED 16 to the distal end of the insertion part and a light emission means fixing member 70 disposed inside the control part 3. In the light emission means fixing member 70, a through hole 70b in which the LED 16 is disposed and a through hole 70a into which the region of the suction conduit 100 inside the control part 3 is inserted are formed, and at least the part between the through holes 70b and 70a is formed of a heat transmitting member.
