The invention relates to medicine, in particular to dentistry and can be used for the treatment of chronic periodontitis.According to the invention the claimed method consists in that are treated mechanically the root canals of the carious tooth, then it is performed the lavage of root canals with 0.5% sodium hypochlorite solution, and then is administered 0.1..0.3 ml of L-carnosine solution 0.1 mg/ml, this procedure is repeated in a week, month and two months, and after three and six months is performed the lavage of root canals and is administered a solution in the amount of 0.1…0.3 ml, containing L-carnosine solution 0.1 mg/ml and 0.5% BioR solution in the ratio of (2/3…1/2) : (1/3…1/2) respectively, then after the 9th month in the root canals is administered 0.1…0.3 ml of 0.5% BioR solution, at the same time after each procedure the root canals are temporarily filled, and after 12 months is performed the lavage of root canals, afterwards they are finally filled and is restored the crown of the tooth.Invenţia se referă la medicină, în special la stomatologie şi poate fi utilizată pentru tratamentul periodontitei cronice.Conform invenţiei metoda revendicată constă în aceea că se prelucrează mecanic canalele radiculare ale dintelui cariat, apoi se efectuează lavajul canalelor radiculare cu soluţie de hipoclorură de sodiu de 0,5%, după care se introduc 0,1…0,3 ml de sol.
