PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body fat estimation method, a device, and a system capable of measuring part of a contour of an abdominal part by a simple method.SOLUTION: A body fat estimation method includes: a step S103 for acquiring direction information of an own machine and movement information of the own machine； steps S115 and S203 for calculating part of a contour of an abdominal part based on the direction information and the movement information by a control part； and a step S218 for estimating at least one of a visceral fat area and a subcutaneous fat area in a cross section of the abdominal part based on the calculated part of the contour of the abdominal part.【課題】簡易的な手法により腹部の輪郭の一部を測定できる体脂肪推定方法、機器、及びシステムを提供する。【解決手段】体脂肪推定方法は、自機の向き情報及び自機の移動情報を得るステップＳ１０３と、制御部により、向き情報及び移動情報に基づいて腹部の輪郭の一部を演算するステップＳ１１５，Ｓ２０３と、当該演算された腹部の輪郭の一部に基づいて腹部の断面における内臓脂肪面積及び皮下脂肪面積の少なくとも一方を推定するステップＳ２１８とを含む。【選択図】図２３
