In such a manner, since the advancing direction of a radiation beam to the absorption foil of the radiation grid is not changed as far as possible regardless of the movement of the FPD, the radiation beam (direct beam) radiated from the X-ray tube reaches the FPD without being obstructed by the absorption foil.
