PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handcart which, even when designed to be compact by setting the size smaller in the width direction, can make the seat part used without difficulty, which in addition facilitates maintaining of a seated state by a user sat on the seat part similarly as with an armrest installed, and which also makes it easy for a user to stand up from a state sat on the seat part.SOLUTION: The handcart includes a seat part 160 and side members 141L, 141R which are arranged to the side of the seat part 160. Problems are solved by setting the height H1 of the upper end positions 900L, 900R of the side members 141L, 141R at a position lower than the height H4 of the widest position W in the waist part of a user U sat on the seat part 160.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
