PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving unit and an antenna unit which enable receiving devices of one kind to process and store image signals transmitted from different capsule-type endoscope apparatuses.SOLUTION: The receiving unit according the present invention comprises: an antenna unit 4 for receiving information within a subject acquired by a capsule-type endoscope introduced into the subject and a receiving unit 5 for storing the received subject internal information. The receiving unit further comprises an external electronic device 6 which includes: a storage unit 63 for storing operation mode setting information corresponding to the use of the capsule-type endoscope and a power supply unit 64 for supplying electric power to enable reception of an image signal captured in the operation mode. The receiving device 5 comprises: a control unit 53 for acquiring the operation mode setting information from the external electronic device 6 via the antenna unit 4 and a power receiving unit 57 for receiving via the antenna unit 4 the electric power transmitted from the power supply unit of the external electronic device 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
