The invention relates to an object (O) that comprises at least one part made of a plastic material, or entirely consists of such a plastic material, wherein the plastic material comprises a plasticising compound and is coated, on at least one of its surfaces - inner or outer - by at least one layer consisting of a metal oxide or a mixture of metal oxides.
