To appropriately set a plurality of fixation positions for acquiring a mosaic image using OCT, regardless of an individual difference in an eyeball.SOLUTION: A fixation system 250 presents fixation marks to a subject eye and an imaging unit 270 captures an image of the eyeground. An OCT image acquisition unit 260 applies OCT to the eyeground. A control unit 210 controls the fixation system 250 and the imaging unit 270 such that a front image of the eyeground is acquired while predetermined fixation marks are presented to the subject eye. A fixation position setting unit 231 sets one or more fixation positions on the basis of the front image. The control unit 210 controls the fixation system 250 such that the fixation system sequentially presents, to the subject eye, two or more fixation marks corresponding to two or more fixation positions including the one or more fixation position, and also controls the OCT image acquisition unit 260 such that the image acquisition unit acquires a three-dimensional image of the eyeground while each of the two or more fixation marks is presented to the eyeground.
