PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for providing data according to a user in an ultrasonic device are provided to easily obtain an ultrasonic image of the user by storing the ultrasonic image in an external server according to the user. CONSTITUTION: The identification information of a user is inputted to an ultrasonic device by the user (S10). The inputted identification information is transmitted to an external server (S20). Data including user interface information about the ultrasonic device corresponding to the identification information is received from the external server (S30). The user interface of the ultrasonic device is changed according to the received user interface information (S40).
