PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive hydrogel having improved adhesiveness, and a composition for producing the adhesive hydrogel.
SOLUTION: The hydrogel contains a polymer matrix composed of a copolymer of a nonionic polymerizable monomer and a crosslinkable monomer, water, a polyhydric alcohol and a copolymer of acrylic acid and methacrylic acid, regulated so that the content of the copolymer of the acrylic acid and the methacrylic acid based on 100 pts.wt. of the nonionic polymerizable monomer may be 0.15-15 pts.wt.
