PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chlorine dioxide generation device from which chlorine dioxide can be discharged at a sufficient flow rate without mounting a large-sized fan thereon and in which generation of noise can be suppressed.SOLUTION: The chlorine dioxide generation device 10 includes: a cartridge 400 in which a chemical being a chlorine dioxide generation source is held an LED substrate 600 on which LED 601 for emitting UV light to the chemical is mounted a fan 200 for sending air toward the cartridge 400 and a cut-off plate 700 disposed between the LED substrate 600 and the cartridge 400. The chlorine dioxide generation device is constituted so that a part of the air to be sent from the fan 200 is made to pass through a flow passage FP1 being a cartridge 400-side flow passage without being sent to the cut-off plate 700 and another part of the air to be sent from the fan 200 is made to pass through another flow passage FP2 being a different flow passage of the LED substrate 600 without being sent to the cut-off plate 700.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
