Atrial appendage occlusion devices, systems, and hybrid methods of using the same that employ the application of light having a desired wavelength range. The devices of the present disclosure comprise a telescoping catheter assembly configured to isolate an atrial appendage cavity and, using the optical fiber(s), cure any adhesive present within the cavity. Systems are also described comprising the previously mentioned catheter assembly for curing adhesive, as well as an independent suction/injection tool for delivering aspiration and/or adhesive to the LAA cavity and a thoracoscopic camera for optical visualization of the technique. Hybrid methods for using such systems in the treatment of atrial appendage occlusion are also provided.
