The invention relates to a method of treating dermatological conditions or symptoms associated therewith in a patient in need thereof by topically administering an effective amount of a combination of brimonidine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and oxymetazoline or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof to the affected area of skin on the patient.
