PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection and indication device for the detection and indication of the presence or absence of a stabilization bar in the tulip head of a pedicle screw.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a detection and indication device 1 comprising: a housing 2 which is adapted in such a way that it can be connected with elongated flanks of the pedicle screw or a downtube coupled with the pedicle screw in a detachable manner； and a detection bar 3 that is mounted axially movable in a housing, the relative positioning of which to the housing indicating a detection result.
