The subject matter of this disclosure provides antibodies that bind to B cell maturation antigen (BCMA) and methods of use thereof. Further, the presently disclosed subject matter provides a method of treating a tumor in a subject. In certain embodiments, the method includes administering to the subject an effective amount of an antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof disclosed herein, thereby inducing tumor cell death in the subject. In certain embodiments, the method reduces the number of tumor cells.
