PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide carbonated sparkling drinks having stabilized foams and excellent taste, using a foam stabilizer for sparkling drinks which maintains the taste of drink and effectively retains the generated foams, in manufacturing carbonated sparkling drinks such as beer-flavored non-alcoholic drinks, carbonated soft drinks, and sparkling fruit drinks.SOLUTION: A foam stabilizer for sparkling drinks includes a caramel pigment as active ingredient. A method for stabilizing foams of sparkling drinks includes adding the foam stabilizer for sparkling drinks which includes a caramel pigment as active ingredient to a drink at a concentration of 140 to 510 ppm in the drink. The foam stabilizer for sparkling drinks can be used for carbonated sparkling drinks including beer-flavored non-alcoholic drinks, carbonated soft drinks, and sparkling fruit drinks, capable of stabilizing the foams of sparkling drinks for 200 seconds or more after foam formation.
