PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patient interface improved in one or more of comfort, cost, efficacy, ease of use and manufacturability.SOLUTION: A patient interface for applying a supply of air at positive pressure to the entrance of a patient's airways includes a nasal mask 100, and a positioning and stabilizing structure 3300. The nasal mask has a seal forming portion constructed and arranged to form a seal on a portion of an upper lip of the patient, and to form a seal on a portion of a cartilaginous framework of the patient's nose. The nasal mask further has a plenum chamber 3200 that receives in use a portion of the patient's nose including the pronasale.
