A method of producing particles of a substance, comprising: * administering a solution of the substance in a solvent through a line at a flow rate of at least 1 L / s in at least one bolus from a pressurizable injection chamber to a supercritical fluid arranged in a precipitation chamber, said supercritical fluid being a non-solvent for the substance and being miscible with the solvent, and * forming particles of the substance, said particles being distributed in a mixture of the solvent and the supercritical fluid, said procedure being carried out without the use of nozzles or capillary holes to effect the atomization of the solution.Un procedimiento para producir partículas de una sustancia, que comprende: * administrar una solución de la sustancia en un disolvente a través de un conducto a un caudal de al menos 1 L/s en al menos un bolo desde una cámara de inyección presurizable a un fluido supercrítico dispuesto en una cámara de precipitación, siendo dicho fluido supercrítico un no disolvente para la sustancia y siendo miscible con el disolvente, y * formar partículas de la sustancia, distribuyéndose dichas partículas en una mezcla del disolvente y el fluido supercrítico, efectuándose dicho procedimiento sin el uso de boquillas u orificios capilares para efectuar la atomización de la solución.
