The present disclosure provides a method of treating a complement-mediated disease or disorder in a subject, and a method of inhibiting the activation of complement component C4 in a subject in need of inhibition of the activation of complement component C4. The method includes administering an anti-C1s antibody to the subject. The method also includes administering the anti-C1s antibody at a fixed dose, eg, 5.5 g, 6.5 g or 7.5 g.
