The method comprises the following steps: putting the kitchen waste water and a carrier into a fermentation tank, and stirring to realize the complete adsorption of the kitchen waste water by the carrier, wherein the carrier is the sawdust and/or peanut shell; putting deodorization bacteria and thermophilic bacteria into the fermentation tank, and stirring uniformly; and fermenting the carrier containing the deodorization bacteria and the thermophilic bacteria, and taking the carrier out after the fermentation to obtain the potting medium for soilless ornamental plants.
