A catheter has an elongated tubular body and a septum. The elongated tubularbodydefines a longitudinal axis and includes a first wall defining a first lumenand a second walldefining a second lumen. The first lumen and the second lumen communicate withfirst andsecond distal openings, respectively. The septum separates the first andsecond lumens. Oneor both of the first and second walls includes a side opening. The sideopening is fluidcommunication with one of the first and second lumens. The side opening has anexternalaperture and an internal aperture. The internal aperture is smaller indimension than theexternal aperture.
