To provide an absorbent article having three-dimensional gathers that reliably rise.SOLUTION: An absorbent article includes a liquid-permeable top sheet, a liquid-impermeable back sheet, an absorber between the top sheet and the back sheet, a cover sheet bonded to the back sheet, and a pair of side sheets which are provided along a longitudinal direction of a pair of side edge parts of the absorber and whose one end part is bonded to at least one of the top sheet, the back sheet, or the cover sheet. In the pair of side sheets, an elastic member forming three-dimensional gathers at the other end is arranged in a stretched state. The absorbent article has an abdominal part, a crotch part, and a back side part.
