PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanting machine in which a planting lever can be moved by motor drive to lower a seedling planting unit and start the planting work, and the planting lever can be moved in the raised position of the seedling planting unit by the motor drive according to need.SOLUTION: A seedling planting unit 3 is provided to a traveling vehicle body 1. A shift actuator 11 is constituted which has a cam plate 6 forming cam holes P1-P4 for determining each operational position by the operation of a planting lever 4 and the drive of a motor 5, a driving pin 8 having a cam pin 7 and engaged with the cam holes P1-P4 to lock a turning position of the cam plate 6 and turned by the motor 5, and an interlocking rod 10 forming an oblong hole 9 for fitting the driving pin 8 in a longitudinally slidable manner and connecting the end to the cam plate 6.
