PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root vegetable harvester equipped with a travel apparatus which can approximately horizontally hold a machine frame even when the lateral height of the machine frame is changed in any height due to field conditions or the like, and can also be used in a field having a levee groove or inclined field, or the like.SOLUTION: A connection arm 47 is rotated with a cylinder 24 to forward or backward move one side of stretchable connection rods 52 for connecting the upper end sides of front and rear link arms 49, 51 to each other and not to move or to backward or forward move the other side of the connection rods 52, thereby lifting the front and rear link arms 49, 51 connected to the connection rod 52 on the forward moved side, and lowering the front and rear link arms 49, 51 connected to the connection rod 52 on the non-moved or backward or forward moved side. The machine frame can thereby be inclined in the right or left direction to horizontally hold the machine frame on the basis of the surface of a field.
