The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising an upland field rice fermented extract for skin whitening as an active ingredient. According to the present invention, in the case of a cosmetic composition comprising, as an active ingredient, a fermented product obtained by solid fermentation using Aspergillus oryzae, for skin whitening, by inhibiting tyrosinase activity and inhibiting the expression of microphthalmia-associated transcription factor (MITF) and pre-melanosomal protein 17 (PMEL17), the melanin biosynthesis can be suppressed, and consequently a skin whitening effect can be exhibited.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017본 발명은 밭벼(upland field rice) 발효물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 피부 미백용 화장료 조성물에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 따르면, 밭벼를 누룩곰팡이균(Aspergillus oryzae)을 이용한 고체발효에서 수득한 발효물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 피부 미백용 화장료 조성물의 경우, 티로시나아제(tyrosinase) 활성을 억제하고, MITF((microphthalmia-associated transcription factor) 및 PMEL17 (pre-melanosomal protein 17) 발현을 억제시킴으로써 멜라닌 생합성을 억제하여, 결론적으로 피부 미백 효과를 나타낼 수 있다.
