PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion cell module dispensing with a pump and a pipe and enabling highly accurate control, and a cushioning device using the expansion module.SOLUTION: The expansion module includes: a cell body 2 at least vertically expanded/contracted according to a pressure of a gas to be supplied to the inside； and a gas supply mechanism 3 provided at a lower side of the cell body and capable of supplying the gas to the inside of the cell body.
