The present invention relates to a lifting/lowering apparatus for a wheelchair which is used for safely loading/unloading a wheelchair while a user sits thereon. The lifting/lowering apparatus for a wheelchair comprises a latch gear connected to a side surface of moving wheels； a brake block in which a brake gear part for braking by engaging with the latch gear is formed； a connection rod hinged to the brake block； a brake pedal connection shaft arranged sideways to cross the longitudinal direction of the lower end frame, and supported and connected to be rotatable； a brake pedal connected to the brake pedal connection shaft, and positioned outside the lower end frame； and a brake medium link part in which one end is connected to the brake pedal connection shaft and the other end is connected to the connection rod, and which leads a motion of pushing or pulling the brake block when pressing or not pressing the brake pedal with a link connection structure to engage/disengage the brake gear part from the latch gear. A weak point that a brake is not working well or delayed, which was a problem in a conventional hydraulic pressure method, can be improved. Braking efficiency can be increased along with a stabilized motion, and convenience of use can be enhanced.본 발명은 탑승자가 탑승한 상태인 휠체어를 안전하게 승하차시키는데 사용하기 위한 휠체어용 승강장치에 관한 것으로서, 이동바퀴의 측면에 결합되는 래치기어； 상기 래치기어와의 치합(齒合)을 통해 제동을 수행하기 위한 제동기어부가 형성되는 제동블록； 상기 제동블록에 힌지 결합되는 연결대； 상기 하단프레임의 길이방향에 교차되게 횡(橫) 배치되고, 회전 가능하도록 지지 결합되는 브레이크페달 연결축； 상기 브레이크페달 연결축에 결합되고, 하단프레임의 외측에 위치되는 브레이크페달； 상기 브레이크페달 연결축에 일단이 결합되고 타단이 연결대에 결합되며, 링크 연결구조에 의해 브레이크페달의 가압 또는 가압 해제시 제동블록을 밀어내거나 또는 잡아당기는 동작을 유도하여 래치기어에 제동기어부를 치합 또는 치합 해제하기 위한 제동 매개 링크부； 를 포함하는 구성으로 하여, 종래 유압방식에서 문제시되었던 제동이 잘되지 않거나 제동이 지연되는 단점을 개선할 수 있고 안정된 동작과 더불어 제동효율을 높일 수 있으며 사용 편의성을 증진시킬 수 있는 휠체어용 승강장치에 관한 것이다.
